Community Workforce Response Grant (CWRG)

NOTE: We are no longer accepting applications for the Bookkeeping Office Administration Skills Training Program, the IT Technician program, and the Community Support Worker.

Western Community College (WCC) will train up to 240 eligible individuals to work in health care, informational technology, bookkeeping and office administration, and community support in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

Participants in these programs will receive occupational-specific training, essential skills, and financial supports training over the course of several weeks, followed by four weeks of on-the-job work experience placements and job search support. Each program offers a different occupational stream including health care, informational technology, bookkeeping and office administration, and community support.

We are pleased to offer our community this opportunity to receive an education that will positively impact lives.

What is the Community Workforce Response Grant (CWRG)?

The CWSG provides funding for communities and industries to support in-demand skills training leading to secure and sustainable employment for unemployed or underemployed (part-time, seasonal or casual) British Columbians.
