Employment & Career Services (ECS) at WCC

At Western Community College, the Employment and Career Services (ECS) department is dedicated to preparing students for long-term career success. ECS bridges the gap between education and employment by offering personalized career coaching, skills training, and strong industry connections that help students transition confidently into the workforce.

Student Journey with ECS

From the very first intake questionnaire, ECS builds a customized action plan for each student—tracking progress through advising sessions, workshops, employer connections, and ultimately, job placement or advancement. With at least five touchpoints per student, ECS ensures every learner gets continuous guidance and support.
