All students at Western Community College has access to an extensive array of services offered at all our Campuses. These range from services offered by faculty & advisors at the college, student success workshops, academic advising & counselling. Housing Services

Vanmates is student housing agency for local and international students. Vanmates is a modern Co-Living space for students and young professionals in the city of Vancouver, Canada.

Academic Support

Robust academic support through peer tutoring and comprehensive library resources, fostering a conducive environment for student success and excellence in learning.

Career Services

Engage in invaluable support through resume and employment support, empowering students with the skills and resources needed for successful career advancement.

Financial AID

Students have access diverse financial aid options, including scholarships, resources, and bursaries, ensuring that students have the support needed to pursue their academic goals.

Counselling Services

Students have access to the Here2Talk program, MSP checklist; ensuring that counseling services are readily available to promote a healthy and supportive learning environment.

Child Care

Western Community College recognizes the unique needs of its student-parents by providing information about essential child care services subsidies, fostering an inclusive environment.

Disability Support Services

We are committed to inclusivity and student success by offering dedicated disability support services, ensuring that all students have equal opportunities and access to resources that cater to their unique needs and abilities.

International Student Support

Surrey Campus Student Resources

  • The Library is available to virtually support students, faculty, and staff. Our Digital library from SAGE Publications has more than 5000 books and journals available online  for students to use the resources for:
    • Getting started with your research
    • Finding and accessing resources
  • The Writing Centre provides personalized sessions with highly skilled instructors to help you develop your thinking and writing at WCC.
  • Free On-Site English Support is offered through individual appointments or group learning sessions to focus on grammar, academic writing, conversation, and pronunciation.
  • Student Advising
    Learn time management, exam preparation, critical thinking, note-taking, and reading. Academic advising staff are available to help you plan your path to graduation.
