Wages

Earn up to $25 per hour as a Marketing Assistant

Program Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements Grade 12 or Mature Student Status (19 years of age or more) and Proof of English Language Proficiency. Students will need to submit a proof of English Language Competency by any one of the following options:

Domestic Students:
– Grade 10 English
– Successful Completion of English Language Proficiency Assessment Test conducted by the College (scoring 60% or more)

International Students:

  • TOEFL (paper): 550 or
  •  IELTS: 5.5 or
  • TOEFL (CBT): 210 or
  • TOEFL (IBT): 79 or
  • Canadian Language Benchmark Test (CLB): 6
  • PTE Academic: 50 or
  • Cambridge: CAE or
  • Has earned a Grade 12 graduation diploma from in a system in which English is the official language, or
  • Successfully completed a pre-Intermediate certificate from a Language Canada accredited school or
  • Successful Completion of English Language Proficiency Assessment Test conducted by the College (scoring 60% or more)
  • Successful completion of 24-week ESL program at the College or
  • Duolingo score of 95 or more in the last two years

Upon completion of this program, the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:

  • Understand the concepts of marketing
  • Demonstrate an understanding of marketing mix
  • Determine the viability of new international business opportunities
  • Evaluate if potential benefits outweigh the risks and costs for new international business opportunities
  • Conduct research into new markets
  • Describe processes to determine efficient entry strategies into new markets
  • Outline how to manage global supply chain and logistics within the global value chain
