A Legacy of Excellence
Since our founding, WCC has been committed to providing transformative education that empowers students to reach their full potential. Our story is one of growth, innovation, and a deep dedication to the communities we serve.
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
WCC was established in 2012, receiving its designation from the Ministry of Advanced Education. This marked the foundation of its commitment to delivering quality education.
QUALITY FIRST
In 2014, WCC earned the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation, solidifying its reputation for high standards in education in British Columbia.
Between 2016 and 2020, WCC expanded with new campuses in South Surrey, and Scott Road, Surrey. It also formed key partnerships through articulation agreements, including a significant collaboration with BCIT.
BHM Approval
From 2021 to 2023, WCC launched the first cohort of the Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM) program and its Aviation Wing, received full recognition from BCCAT, Transport Canada certification, and IATA recognition. Additionally, in 2023, successfully graduated and received their Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWP).
Program Expansion
In 2024, WCC secured approval for the Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) program and achieved full accreditation, further diversifying its academic offerings and strengthening its impact on education. That same year, WCC also launched its Student Housing Project in partnership with Lark Group and ICT Group, strategically located in the Surrey Health & Technology District. Designed to support growing student needs, the housing initiative reflects WCC’s commitment to building an inclusive and connected student experience, providing modern, secure accommodations just steps away from academic and career opportunities.
