Western Community College invites applications for the position of English Instructor. The instructor will be responsible for making lesson plans, teaching, and evaluating their students’ performance and progress. The instructor would be able to teach ESL, but also Academic Preparation Program, CELBAN, CLB, CELPIP and/or IELTS preparation courses.
The required qualification for this position is as follows:
- A bachelor’s degree and a TESOL, TESL, or CELTA Certificate (from a TESL Canada accredited institution).
- 2 years’ experience teaching English courses at another BC post-secondary institution.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week
Salary: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Location: Surrey Campus / Abbotsford Campus
