The recent job fair held at Newton Recreation Centre in Surrey was a resounding success, connecting job seekers with leading employers. The event on 23rd March 2023 saw an impressive turnout from 1000+ job seekers and employers. Over 60+ employers from various industries participated in the job fair. Recruiters and hiring managers from these companies attended the event to provide information about their companies, available job openings, and career advancement opportunities.

“We are thrilled with the success of the job fair and the opportunities it provided for job seekers in the area,” said Gurpal Dhaliwal, President – WCC. “Our goal was to bring together top employers and job seekers and create meaningful connections, and we believe we achieved that goal.”
Job seekers who attended the job fair expressed gratitude for the opportunity to network with top employers in their fields. Many of them were able to speak with multiple employers and even received on-the-spot interviews.
“I came to the job fair hoping to find my dream job, and I was not disappointed,” said Ramandeep Kaur (job seeker). “I spoke with several companies and was even offered an interview. I am grateful for this opportunity.”
The success of the job fair is a testament to the importance of creating opportunities for job seekers to connect with top employers in their fields.
