This summer, we’re taking things to the court.
WCC Badminton Tournament — July 4, 2026
We’re thrilled to announce the WCC Badminton Tournament, taking place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Surrey Badminton Club (SBC), located at 19025 52 Ave, Surrey, BC.
Whether you’re a competitive player with a killer smash or someone just looking for a fun, active day with colleagues, this tournament is designed for everyone. With events in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles — across skill categories — there’s a spot for every level of player.
Every participant will walk away with a tournament souvenir T-shirt and refreshments to keep the energy up throughout the day. Shuttlecocks are also provided, so all you need to bring is your racket and your competitive spirit. Top finishers will be recognized with medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place — not a bad way to spend a long weekend!

Registration was limited to 80 participants and has already reached capacity — a testament to just how enthusiastic our WCC community is when it comes to getting active and having fun together. If you missed out this time, don’t be discouraged. Events like this are a regular part of life at WCC, and there will be plenty more opportunities to get involved throughout the year.
