Western Community College (WCC) recently took part in a 5-Day International Faculty Development Programme on “AI-Augmented Management Education: Reimagining Pedagogy, Research, and Industry Readiness.” The programme ran from July 13 to 17 in an online format and was organized by Rayat Bahra University.
As part of this international academic collaboration, Dr. Daren Hancott, Vice President Academic (VPA) at WCC, delivered the keynote address. His session explored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in higher education, offering perspectives on how AI is reshaping teaching and learning in management education today.
WCC was also represented by several other resource persons who contributed sessions to the programme: Dr. Parinita Malhotra, Harleen Aggarwal, Dr. Sahar Movahedi, and Rajesh Rejmi. Their sessions gave faculty members at Rayat Bahra University insight into emerging trends in education, research, technology integration, and innovative approaches to management teaching and learning.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing innovation in teaching, research, technology integration, and industry ready education. WCC looks forward to strengthening this partnership and exploring further opportunities for academic excellence and global engagement.
