Educating future drivers is part of building safer communities.
This Thursday, ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia) visited Western Community College to host a Graduated Licensing Program (GLP) information session, giving students the opportunity to better understand the BC licensing process and ask questions directly to the experts.
The session covered everything from the Class 7L knowledge test to the Class 7N and Class 5 road tests, including licensing requirements, fees, and the steps to earning a full driver’s license. Students also explored helpful online resources, such as study guides and practice tests, to support them throughout the process.
Beyond licensing, the conversation focused on the importance of road safety, with practical information about distracted driving, speeding, pedestrian awareness, and impaired driving.
Thank you to Bunty Jaswal, Duane Dougan, and Chandan Sharma for sharing your expertise and helping our students feel more informed and prepared, both on and off the road.
A sincere thank you as well to everyone who helped bring this session together:
Gurpal Dhaliwal | Rimpy Dhaliwal | Harmandeep Kaur | Vandana Khetarpal | Daren Hancott | Raj Hundal | Karanvir Sekhon | Stephen A. | Brandie Y.
