Celebrating Our BHM Alumni Community: Alumni Dinner 2026

At Western Community College, our commitment to students doesn’t end at graduation — it grows with them. The relationships we build during their studies carry forward into their careers, and few things make us prouder than watching our graduates thrive in the industry they trained for. That’s what made our BHM Alumni Dinner 2026 such a special evening.

We had an incredible night bringing together our graduates, faculty, and hospitality industry professionals for an evening of connection, celebration, and inspiration.

Insights from Industry

We were pleased to welcome our guest speaker, Haris Bokhari, Manager at Hilton Hotel, who shared valuable insights and inspiring words about the hospitality industry and professional growth. Hearing directly from leaders working in the field is exactly the kind of real-world connection we strive to create for our students and alumni.

Celebrating Our Emerging Leaders

We also celebrated the achievements of our alumni and recognized our emerging leaders, Harpreet Singh and Michelle Duvenage, whose journeys across different areas of the hospitality industry represent the skills, values, and dedication we build through our Bachelor of Hospitality Management program. Seeing our graduates grow into leaders is the truest measure of what we do — and a reminder of why we invest so deeply in every student who walks through our doors.

A Special Thank You

A special thank you to Maharaja Fine Dining Lounge for welcoming us and providing the perfect space for this memorable celebration.
