We are thrilled to announce that we are hiring Business Law Instructors for our Diploma courses starting in January 2024.
TITLE: BUSINESS LAW INSTRUCTOR
POSITION OVERVIEW: The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching business and hospitality law in Diploma courses.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time, contract (15/20 hours per week)
TERM: Winter – January 2024 (15 weeks)
LOCATION: Surrey, BC: The candidate must be able to commute to our Surrey Campus.
SCHEDULE: Part-Time: 15/20 hours per week.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SESSIONAL INSTRUCTOR:
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in the teaching subject area or related field
- 1 year experience teaching the same or similar courses at another BC post-secondary institution
- Industry experience will be considered an asset
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Able to prepare detailed lesson plans
- Able to use technology and online teaching technique
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent instructional capability
- Able to maintain professionalism
- Strong Proficiency in English
