Western Community College invites applications for the position of Sessional Instructor for the Bachelor of Hospitality Management. Sessional Instructors are required to teach one or more of the following courses/subject areas in Business and Hospitality:
- Preparatory English (ENGL099)
- Introduction to English Academic Writing (ENGL120)
- Preparatory Mathematics (MATH099)
- Fundamentals of Mathematics (MATH102)
- Introduction to Statistics (STATS224)
- World History (HIST200)
- North America History throughout the ages (HIST210)
- Marketing Management (BUSM253)
The required qualification for this position is as follows:
- Minimum of a master’s degree in business, hospitality, or subject area of teaching.
- 2 years’ experience teaching the same or similar courses at another BC post-secondary institution.
- Industry experience will be considered an asset.
