Program Overview

This program is aimed at teaching the basics of computers to those students who have little to no computer knowledge. This will help the new learners to acquire computer skills that are essential in day to day life, and for many jobs, so that they will be comfortable using a computer.

Learn the basics of computers and commonly used office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Improve your typing speed, accuracy, and comfort with using computers.

Program Admission Requirements

19 years of age, or older.

Program Duration

80 hours

Wages

Earn up to $28* per hour as a Computer Operator at various jobs.
All wages taken from the Canada Job Bank

4 Creating Tables in MS Excel
5 Creating graphs in MS Excel
6 Working on Typing speed
7 Creating Email ID.
8 Composing Emails, attaching documents to email
9 Using Social Media appropriately – Facebook
10 Using Google and other search engines

This program has been approved by the registrar of the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. As such, the registrar did not review this program.
