WCC invites applications for the position of Program Developer. The Program Developer will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing the curriculum/activities for the Pharmacy Technician Diploma Program (the eligible candidate could be hired as program coordinator/instructor once the program starts).
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Draft Curriculum in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Standards set by the Canadian Council for the Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), and the College of Pharmacist of British Columbia.
- Assist in the development of a program submission for accreditation.
- Support the implementation and launch of accredited program.
The eligible candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Minimally a Pharmacy Technician Diploma as well as a registered pharmacy technician (RPhT).
- Two (2) years of full-time work experience in the field (hospital pharmacies, community pharmacies or related).
- Demonstrated ability/knowledge to develop the program. Experience teaching in an online and in-person environment is preferred.
Contract / Flexible hours
Salary: Per hour / According to experience.
